This year, I once again took part in the Inktober art marathon. This is my fourth challenge fully completed. The ability to quickly generate ideas and find ways to bring them to life is very valuable in an artist’s work, and it’s indispensable in this marathon!

The wonderful Turkish writer explores the phenomenon of time perception from a child’s perspective. Sometimes time flies, and sometimes it drags on. But the young heroine of this book knows for sure — time hides in clocks. And to make sense of this complex phenomenon, the girl builds her first mechanism and finds a true friend. The book was published in 2024.

I’ve been practicing ballet and violin as hobbies for almost 20 years.
These arts amaze me with beauty, dynamism, and the ability to express a lot without saying a word.
As a result of the work, a series of postcards, calendar and prints were created.

The title of the book, Yara Bandi, can be translated from Turkish as “Bandi’s Scar,” but the working title of the book was “Band‑Aid,” and it fits the plot perfectly. “Band‑Aid” is a wonderful children’s book that tells the story of how a boy named Bulut overcomes difficulties due to a wound on his knee. This book not only tells an engaging story about the characters’ adventures but also conveys important lessons about courage, friendship, and overcoming difficulties. Through the adventures of Bulut and his friends, the author raises philosophical questions about pain, strength, and personal growth, which makes the book engaging and informative for young readers, as well as for their parents. “The Band‑Aid” is a wonderful companion for a child, which will help them overcome difficulties and become stronger, as well as delve deeper into themselves and important life values. This variation on the theme of the fairy tale “Porridge from an Axe” appealed to me with its subtle humor and the clarity of the idea that if we all work together for the common good, we will achieve better results than if we work separately. I started creating illustrations for this book back in 2020, and finally finished it in 2024.

In December 2022 I made ballet illustrations to be included in the freely available “infographics” section of the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet roundtable titled “Contemporary Choreographic Education in Additional Educational Programs for Professional Development” was held. Those illustrations can be downloaded and printed completely free of charge on the project’s website.

Over the few years I’ve lived in Moscow, I’ve developed a genuine love for this large and amazingly beautiful city. In a series of collages and drawings, I explore my most beloved buildings of Moscow using graphic means.

Penguin Antosha and fox Buk want to find out why “this annoying advertising” is needed. They buy “The ABCs of Advertising.” Learning more with each page, the friends launch a business and go through the stages from the birth of the “product idea” to brand promotion. On their way to the goal, they meet uncle Sanya (the TV‑show‑making bear), the turtle‑producer Seryozha, the cat influencer Lavchik, and other characters who help them create and promote the brand.

In November 2021, I conceived a personal art marathon in the form of a series of self‑portraits. The theme of self‑discovery and revealing one’s true self has always been close and interesting to me. In this series, I tried to explore myself through drawing. The prints of this project are available in my printshop.

In this charming book, the author explores the issues of human relationships and loneliness during the COVID‑19 lockdown. The main characters of the book are Claire and her cat Marmalade, whom we already know from the previous book, Claire Malina Changes the World. The book was published in 2021.

Based on real events, this is a touching story about a girl whose family is forced to leave their native village in the Sudetenland due to the outbreak of World War II and set off in search of a new home. The child’s experiences in the face of the threat and instability of the adult world are conveyed simply and truthfully, without excessive drama. The book was published in Australia in 2021.

The story of schoolgirl Claire is inspired by young activists like Greta Thunberg, whose concern for what is happening in the world makes it possible to change it for the better. Claire reads a lot and knows a lot, but she has no friends at all. And then, one day, her efforts truly benefit her hometown and its residents. The book was published in 2019..
